| (The episode begins showing a town already destroyed by the Frobots, so its inhabitants leave. Anne, the Plantars and Loggle appear asking for new recruits for the Resistance.)

(jumps into the villagers and offers them some pamphlets) Join us today and give Amphibia a fighting chance.

(while raising his hand) Are there any perks?

| Anne

Besides saving your world? Well...

| Hop Pop
|
(intervening) There sure are! And allow me to tell you all about 'em.

| Anne
|
Oh, (facepalms) frog, no.
|
| Hop Pop
|
This (shows them a plant) plant was grown underground in our very own hydroponics-based resistance garden. Join us, and you, too, can take part in a horticultural revolution!

| (The villagers are silent for a moment in discomfort, a tadpole cries, and then they start to retreat.)

| Sprig
|
Oh, no. We're losing 'em.

| Polly
|
Anne code blue!

| Anne
|
(stops them after pulling Hop Pop aside) Wait a second, everyone. If you join today, you could eventually look like (pointing to Loggle) this.
|
| (Loggle takes off his overalls to show the villagers his muscles. They cheer.)

| Frog 2
|
(The villagers line up for registration) All right! Sign me up! (Hop Pop turns around and sighs sadly)
|
| (Minutes later, while Anne, the Plantars and Loggle are leaving, a drone detects them.)
|
| Drone
|
Resistance forces detected. (flies towards the caravan to cloak and shapeshifts to hide) Tracking device activated. (activates the device system)
|
| Anne
|
Wowza. (while checking the map) Almost half the caravan signed up. Here's to another successful recruitment. (cheers with Sprig and Polly)

| Hop Pop
|
Baaaa... (Anne, Sprig and Polly notice his state.)
|
| Sprig
|
What's wrong, Hop Pop?

| Hop Pop
|
Sometimes I feel like I'm the only person who actually appreciates cultivating nature. I mean, farming is cool.

| Anne
|
(nervous) Totally.
|
| Polly
|
(nervous) Of course.

| Sprig
|
(nervous) Super cool.
|
| Hop Pop
|
(doesn't believe them) I just wish I could be surrounded by people who love what I love for a change.

| (Suddenly a wind whistles and a lot of fog appears. Anne and the Plantars are starting to think they're lost.)

| Anne
|
(while checking the map) Did we take a wrong turn somewhere? I have no idea where we even are.
|
| (A tremor is felt and suddenly they go down the hill at full speed, causing Anne, the Plantars and Loggle to panic. They reach a void and just fall down. A short time later...)

| Hop Pop
|
(wakes up abruptly and gasps) What happened? Am I dead? Where are the kids? What in the-- (notices where they are now and the current status of Anne, Sprig, Polly and Loggle) (worried) (gets out of bed and tries to wake up Anne) Kids, wake up!

| Anne
|
(waking up) Huh? Where are we?
|
| Sprig
|
(while getting out of bed and notices what he's wearing) And why are we all wearing dresses?
|
| (Anne, the Plantars and Loggle leave the building and is amazed at where they are. The inhabitants learn of their presence and walk towards them.)

| Leader
|
What ho, friends. So you're awake. Name's Horace. Welcome to the hidden village of Gardenton. (claps twice with the people)
|
| Anne
|
Gardenton? That wasn't on any map.
|
| Horace
|
We don't like drawing attention to our little slice of paradise. (it shows some parts of Gardenton) A place were every frog is a highly-skilled horticulturist. Our plants are treated with the love and respect they deserve.
|
| Hop Pop
|
I don't believe it. This place is full of frogs (gets excited) just like MEE!
|
| Horace
|
Oooh, do I sense a fellow plantophile?
|
| Hop Pop
|
Guess who has (shows them his thumbs) two green thumbs and loves the smell of fertilizer. (points himself) This guy! (People of Gardenton laugh)

| Horace
|
Ooh! (chuckles) Clever, clever. You do have the thumbs.
|
| Hop Pop
|
(talking to Anne, Sprig, Polly and Loggle) A village of horticulturalists? Now we're talking. Let's recruit 'em. I'll take point!

| Anne
|
I don't know, HP. Does the Resistance really need plant people?

| Sprig
|
Yeah, the last village made catapults.
|
| Polly
|
I don't exactly think horticult--

| Hop Pop
|
(walk to Horace) I'm doing it. (Polly facepalms) Horace, my friend, we've got a proposal and, as head of this town, I (gives him a pair of lil hits) think you're gonna wanna hear it.

| Horace
|
Oh, I'm afraid I'm not the head of this community.
|
| Hop Pop
|
Oh, well, can you take us to your leader?
|
| Horace
|
But of course. Follow me to the greenhouse. (guides the Plantars and Loggle the way)

| Anne
|
(uncomfortable) Say, Horace, have you seen our snail or wagon?
|
| Horace
|
They've been stored safely. Now come along. (Hop Pop giggling her)
|
| Anne
|
(a couple of children hold hands her and laugh) I'm officially creeped out.
|
| (As Horace leads the way for Anne, the Plantars and Loggle, Hop Pop is in awe of every detail of Gardenton)

| Hop Pop
|
Horace, this place is incredible! These parsnips are prodigious! Ghost orchids? The balance of heat and humidity must be perfect! And this-- this is just a big cucumber!
|
| Horace
|
I'm glad you like it, but it wasn't always like this. In fact, the land before you used to be barred and lifeless. But then he appeared and with his guidance, we were able to become one with nature.
|
| Loggle
|
(stepped on something with his left foot) Whoopzie-daisy. (lifts his left foot and notices that he stepped on a flower)
|
| (The entire People of Gardenton feels the footfall and begins to sob, lose control and panic. 5 of them come together with the stepped flower.)

| Anne
|
Uh, is it insensitive id I say this feels like an overreaction?
|
| Horace
|
Please, guests, be careful. These plants are as much members of our community as we are.
|
| Hop Pop
|
My apologies, Horace. Some of us don't respect nature.
|
| (Loggle discreetly leaves the place to resume the path to the greenhouse. The 5 villagers cast a mysterious spell to restore the flower. The group arrive to the greenhouse.)

| Horace

We have arrived. (opens the gate and the group enter)

| Hop Pop
|
(walks to "him") You must be the mayor. Put her there! (a silence is felt) (clears throat) Not a toucher, eh? That's okay. Not everyone is. (clears throat) Uh, we'd be mighty obliged if you and your green- fingered friends joined our little resistance. We've got hydroponics like you wouldn't believe. (the silence is felt still) (nervous) Uh, we also have casual Fridays and bagel Tuesdays... (whispers to Anne, Sprig, Polly and Loggle) Kids, am I forgettin' anything?

(feels suspicious) Hey, is this guy asleep (lights the "mayor" with the flashlight of her phone) or some--

| Anne, Sprig, Polly, Hop Pop & Loggle
|
(find out it was a skeleton and they get scared) OOOOH, MYYY FROOOOOOOG!!
|
| (Maniacal laughter is heard as all the purple mushrooms in the place light up. The skeleton of regret is dropped in front.)

Well, well, well, (walks in front of them) if it isn't Hopediah Plantar.

| Hop Pop
|
(gasps and drops to the ground) Jeremy the Beetle?!
|
| Creature with spores
|
No, (points to his mushroom of his head) up here, you idiot. It's me! Apothecary Gary!

| Anne, Sprig, Polly, Hop Pop & Loggle
|
APOTHECARY GARY?!?!
|
| (The People of Gardenton arrives, they surround them and they have a zombie attitude.)
|
| Loggle
|
ZOOOMBIIIES! (tries to run away while screaming but some inhabitants ram him)
|
| Frog of Gardenton
|
Ha ha! (while checks his muscles) Guess those muscles were just for show.
|
| Hop Pop
|
I-I don't understand. You're extinct! I saw to it myself!
|
| Apothecary Gary
|
I nearly was, but...
|
| (A flashback begins, beginning with the final scene of "Children of the Spore".)
|
| Apothecary Gary
|
(narrating) Thanks to Jeremy here, I was able to survive and make my way out of Wartwood. (is shown walking in the middle of a desert) Problem was, I was weak and needed to find a place to regrow my strength. (is shows him being covered in a rain) It's a harsh world out there for a little spore and his beetle host. (it shows him about to die by some seagulls but he was saved by the farming town) Then I was taken in by these folks, and together, we formed a true symbiotic relationship. (the farming village is shown cultivating with the power of the spores as he accompanies them) You see, these frogs wanted my spores because it made them better gardeners. It wasn't mind control, not this time, really... (he and the town are shown celebrating Gardenton's birth some time later) and with this power, we turned Gardenton into a paradise. (his narration ends)

I've never had willing subjects before and let me tell you, it makes a big difference.

| (The People of Gardenton pull off their hats revealing Anne, the Plantars and Loggle their mushrooms on their heads. They get scared.)

| Horace

(while listening to his voice somewhat distorted by the spores) With Gary's spores, we can feel the very needs of the plants we cultivate, we're one with nature! It's perfect harmony!

| People of Gardenton
|
(with a zombie attitude) Perfect harmony.
|
| Hop Pop
|
(whistles) Well, this has all been very educational... KIDS, NOW! (steps on a flower, causing the People of Gardenton to panic again)
|
| (Loggle breaks free. Anne, the Plantars and Loggle begin to escape.)
|
| Apothecary Gary
|
(points them) After them! We can't let them escape and lead others to Gardenton!
|
| (Apothecary Gary and the People of Gardenton begin to chase Anne, the Plantar and Loggle.)
|
| (Anne, the Plantars and Loggle turn left and hide in the wall of a greenhouse. Making the people of Gardenton go straight while they groan.)

| Anne
|
We need to find Bessie.
|
| (Anne, the Plantars, and Loggle hear Bessie chirping inside the greenhouse and learn that she is tied up with hundreds of branches. She grumbles in pain.)

| Hop Pop
|
Hang on, girl!
|
| (Anne, the Plantars and Loggle rush to Bessie to try to free her.)
|
| Apothecary Gary
|
(background voice) Not so fast.
|
| (Anne, the Plantars and Loggle gasped as Apothecary Gary, Horace and 4 people of Gardenton caught up with them. Horace snaps the branches to bind Anne, the Plantars and Loggle and they scream in surprise.)

|
You have to admit this is all pretty cool. See how versatile plants can be?

| Apothecary Gary
|
Well, Plantars, are you ready (something is beeping) to be fertilizer? (hears the beeping) Hold on, can anyone hear that? (Horace and the 4 people of Gardenton hear the beeping) Kind of an obnoxious beeping sound?

| (Anne, the Plantars, Loggle, Apothecary Gary, Horace and the 4 people of Gardenton notice that the beeping is coming from some metal thing stuck to the fwagon, but it turns out to be a dragonfly robot.)
|
| Drone robot
|
Resistance base located. (takes off its limbs) Extermination team deployed.
|
| Sprig
|
Oh, hey. When did that get there? (sticks out his tongue to destroy the robot dragonfly)
|
| Apothecary Gary
|
Extermination team? What the heck is that?
|
| (Apothecary Gary, Horace and the 4 people of Gardenton hear a rumble, so they go out to see what's going on. It is shown that a few red exterminating Frobots arrive to burn down all of Gardenton. The inhabitants are starting to get scared.)

It burns us!
|
| (The people of Gardenton flee from the exterminating red Frobots.)

| Horace
|
(in panic) Our precious plants! No!
|
| (The branches lose their power, freeing Anne, the Plantars and Loggle.)

| Anne
|
I know a golden opportunity when I see one. Come on, guys!
|
| (Anne, the Plantars and Loggle flee Gardenton, while the screams of the people of Gardenton are heard.)
|
| Anne
|
Well, that worked out.
|
| Hop Pop
|
Yeah, (sees the disaster) sure did. (sighs)
|
| (Gardenton is shown being destroyed by incineration.)
|
| Anne
|
(after noticing the empathy that Hop Pop suffers) You wanna go back and help them, don't you?

| Hop Pop
|
(while smiles) Yes, please. (Anne groans)
|
| (The disaster continues. A pair of red exterminator Frobot is about to kill Apothecary Gary.)

| Apothecary Gary
|
Don't hurt me. I'm just a cute little beetle!
|
| (Anne, the Plantars and Loggle arrive back in the fwagon, destroying a pair of red exterminator Frobots. Anne throws Hop Pop so he can fly kick an exterminating red Frobot.)

|
Plantars? You're back?
|
| (Anne slashes the other Red Exterminator Frobot with her sword.)

| Sprig
|
(after receives the left arm) Yes. (uses the right arm to burn another Frobot red exterminator) Burn!

| Apothecary Gary
|
(while Horace rises him) We'll help too! CHAAAARGE!
|
| (The people of Gardenton are going to stop the extermination, destroying all the red exterminator Frobots with their farming skills. Both groups manage to make the counterattack successfully, ending up overwhelmed.)

| Hop Pop
|
Dang, Gary. That was some incredible coordination.
|
| Apothecary Gary
|
Thanks. It comes with the whole hive mind situation. You and your kids fight well too.

| Hop Pop
|
What can I say? We've had a lot of practice.

| (Everyone is silent for a moment.)

| Apothecary Gary

Okay, well, I think, um... We're still going to try and kill you guys? Yeah, let's just go with that. (points them) Attack!

| (The people of Gardenton are about to attack Anne, the Plantars and Loggle, but Hop Pop intervenes.)

| Hop Pop
|
Gary, wait! I know we've had some bad history. You tried to enslave my hometown, and I violently murdered you that one time.
|
| Apothecary Gary
|
Yes... yes, you did.
|
| Hop Pop
|
But your skills as a botanist and farmer are undeniable!

| Apothecary Gary
|
(chuckles) Oh, stop. You're making me blush...

| Hop Pop
|
My whole life, I've been lookin' for folks who care about farming as much as I do. And, well, here you are! Won't you join our Resistance and help us take down King Andrias?

(undecided) Well, I don't know...

| Horace
|
Gary, if we don't do something, the village will always be under threat.

|
That's right! They know the location of your village now.
|
| Apothecary Gary
|
That's a good point and Gardenton is so isolated, I had no idea how bad it was out there. Well, Hopediah, you can count on us! Let us know when and where to (he and Hop Pop shake hands as a pact) be, and we will be there.

(is dissatisfied) I cannot believe this is happening.

(is dissatisfied with her arms crossed) Ditto...

|
Hey, Gary, one more thing. (shows him a photo on her phone of the possessed anguile) Andrias has been using these mind-control collars and we think they're utilizing spores similar to yours.

|
Huh? Then that means there must be at least one more of me out there. (in joy) Oh, that's amazing!

| Anne
|
And who knows? Maybe it's a (with a flirtatious face) lady mushroom.

| Apothecary Gary
|
(in discontent for a moment) That's not a thing.

| Anne

Yes. (chuckles for the nervous) Well, everyone... (backs away) knows that.

| (Anne gets into the Fwagon as the rest of the group is shown to be already there.)

| (Anne, the Plantars and Loggle leave Gardenton without further ado and agree to have more people in their resistance.)

(clears throat) So, anyone else lovin' the feel of these dresses? (Anne and the Plantars check their dresses and they are satisfied)

Oh, yeah, absolutely.
