For some reason Everytime I move my button quail egg in my incubator into a vertical position it wiggles itself to be in a horizontal position and stays there. I had made sure it wasn't me bumping into the table and it's 100% not me. Can anyone explain why my quail egg prefers to be horizontal for some reason? Or could it be the incubators fan?

From your other posts you should be in lockdown. Do not open the incubator to play with the eggs.

For their own reasons some people like to go through lockdown with the eggs vertical, pointy side down so the air cell is on top. They put something in the incubator to keep them upright.

Broody hens, commercial hatching operations, and many of us prefer the eggs laying flat. We have different reasons for that but it generally works well. I leave my eggs laying on their side during lockdown and hatch.
