My poor little Lily went to the vet yesterday to get spayed, I really feel bad for her. She was drunk forever after I got her home, staggering around and Bunchie was so mean to her. I think she smelled the other animals from the vets office on her, she kept growling and hissing at her, big bully! Lily acts like she hurts, poor thing, I hope she gets over it soon.
I hope you have a great Thursday. Make sure and join us for the blog hop tomorrow!

I'm diggin' you!
Happy Friday Eve!! YAY, I'm really
looking forward to the weekend! The weather has been so pretty the last couple of days, could it finally be Spring?! I think we're going to be working in the yard, trimming hedges, burning brush, I'm hoping to get some lattice to go around the deck, it really needs to be replaced.
Here is a card I made using 3 of Our Craft Lounge sets, Pat the Dawg House, Pat the Bad Dawg and Kit the Kat. I love how Pat and Kit went so well together here, the scenes you could make with these sets is unlimited, how FUN!
This is a touchy, feely kinda card, I used 4 of the new Sparkly Fluff colors on Pat & Kit, I LOVE this stuff, I seem to be using it a lot! It's so easy to use, just use a glue pen where you want the fluff and then take a pinch with your fingers and dab it in the glue, wa-la The sparkles are so unique, they are kind of oblong and they really shine! You need to get some, you'll see what I mean!
The flowers are felt, the orange ones are SU!, the red ones I cut with my Big Shot and Cuttlebug flower dies. I tried cutting some with the SU! Sizzix dies but the normal sandwich would not work, I need to play some more.
See the sparkles on Pat, I used Brown Sugar and Coffee Brown Sparkly Fluff. On Kit I used Platinum and Sugar. Once I got started cutting flowers I was dragging out everything looking for more felt, LOL!
Supplies: Stamps - OCL Pat the Dawg House, Pat the Bad Dawg, Kit the Kat. Paper - Georgia Pacific White, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, My Minds Eye Penny Lane. Ink - Ranger Distress Black Soot, Copic markers. Acces. - felt, ribbon, buttons, red glitter, Sparkly Fluff Platinum, Sugar, Brown Sugar, Coffee Bean Brown, Martha Stewart Gemstone Sticker, orange SU! felt flowers. Tools - Scor-Pal, tracing wheel, Martha Stewart crown punch, Big Shot, Cuttlebug Flowers die set.

garden journal tin & flowers
I got one of these cool tins from eclecticPaperie
sometime ago and decided I wanted to alter it with
I love the gorgeous creamy colors in these images, just the look I was going for here. I've been using my Prima flowers lately, I had stopped using them for some reason. I got all my bottles and containers and emptied them into 2 big jars, I think by doing that I thought I should be using them. I put Antique Linen Distress Stickles in the centers of the flowers, my fave color! I used vintage lace and I wove some Martha Stewart ribbon through the lace and added a vintage shank button, I put the ribbon through the shank. For the inside I cut a tablet to fit and I cut it off enough to leave room for a pencil or pen. There is a strip of paper and some Prima's on the top. I made a pocket with Crafty paper, added 2 garden images on the pocket and put the seed packets inside.
The garden journal image is all crackly, I used Ranger Crackle Accents, just squeeze it on spread it evenly, let it dry and you have crackles!
I picked up the copper plant tags in the Target $1 spot a few years ago. The big clip has a vintage button with twine tied through the holes on the front and a chipboard circle covered with Crafty paper on the back.

We had a fun weekend at mom's, the Folk Festival was going on, thank goodness the rain held off! We had birthday party for Jasmine, she turned 2 on the 16th. She had fun opening her presents and playing with her sister, friend and cousin.

birthday garden card & paperweight
Good morning!
I hope you had a good weekend and Easter. Ours was quiet, our first Easter with out an egg hunt in a long time, I missed it! The weather was not good for an Easter egg hunt, I'm sure there were a lot of inside hunts around here, it poured all afternoon and cold, brrrr.
We did get our tomato and pepper plants planted Saturday. I can't wait to eat those, nothing better than a home grown tomato on a BLT! Now, we just need warm weather and sunshine, please!!
I made a card and paperweight with the new Garden Creative Scraps by Crafty Secrets. The images in the Garden Scraps are beautiful, so perfect for anything you want to make in a vintage look, my fave! I made the card with the Spellbinders Nestie Curved Rectangles, also a vintage look! I sponged the card with Ranger Distress Vintage Photo, old vintage cards have that brownish look to them, like they've been around for a long time.
The sentiment on the inside is from the Crafty Secrets Garden Girls stamp set. I cut the paper with the Curved Rectangle Nestie, left it in place on the card stock and then I sprayed some Mistletoe Glimmer Mist over it, then I removed the Curved Rectangle and sponged some Vintage Photo on the edges.
I have several vintage paperweights I've picked up at flea markets and yard sales, they do make great gifts and they are really easy to alter. You can get new ones at Photoweights.com. I cut out one of the Garden Scrap images and adhered it to a chipboard coaster, I trimed that and added the flower, leaves, button and gems. I glued my image to the paperweight with E6000.
Supplies: Stamps - Crafty Secrets Garden Girls. Paper - Crafty Secrets Pastel Paper Pad, Garden Creative Scraps, scrap card stock. Ink - Ranger Distress Vintage Photo. Acces. - vintage paperweight, Glimmer Mist (Mistletoe & Iridescent Gold), twine, button, crystal gems, chipboard coaster, Martha Stewart silk ribbon. Tools - SU! Bigz Flower Daisy die, Martha Stewart leaf punch, Spellbinders Mega Curved Rectangle Nesties, Tim Holtz blending tool.

bingo party
YIPPEE, it's Friday eve and I'm SO ready for Friday! This week has gone by pretty fast though and it's slowly warming back up, that makes me very happy!
I'm using another Whipper Snapper stamp by Anna Wight called Cupcake Kitty, I love this grinning cat! How do you like his gold tooth, LOL!
I love how my friend Lisa Zappa started altering vintage Bingo cards last year during Christmas, the coolest idea! I'm always on the look-out for them now.
The butterfly at the top of the cats tail was made by punching 4 hearts from card stock and gluing them together in the middle and adding the little gem stickers for the body.
Supplies: Stamps - Cupcake Kitty by Anna Wight for Whipper Snapper Designs, Let's Party ($1 stamp from Michael's). Paper - GP white, SU! Lavendar Lace, Meg Paisley by Making Memories, vintage Bingo card. Ink - Ranger Distress Black Soot, Copic markers, atyou Spica glitter pens. Acces. - ribbon, rick rack, button, Hero Arts Sparkle gems, Prima flower, Martha Stewart Yellow Gold glitter, SU! eyelet flowers, retired. Tools - Crop-a-dile, tracing wheel, Creative Memories small double heart punch.
I hope your Easter is filled with good times!

inspiration angels & lilacs
Good Monday morning, yep, another
Monday has rolled around, seems like
they come awfully fast these days. I guess it's just getting closer to warm weather...ya think, I'm beginning to wonder.
Today I thought I would share these Inspiration Angel bottles I made for my friends Lisa & Lana, I made these about this time last year. They are supposed to give you inspiration when you have a creative block.
The inside of the bottles are filled with game pieces, bits of ribbon, beads, Prima flowers, glitter, pipe cleaners, buttons and other stuff I can't remember, LOL! The bottles are diffuser bottles I had with cork tops. You could use any bottles though, just make sure the opening at the top is big enough so you can put your goodies inside. I cut an oval out of a chipboard coaster and covered it with paper from the Radiant Paper Pad from Crafty Secrets. I distressed the edges with a sanding block and glued them to the bottles with E 6000. I printed and cut out the pictures, stamped the crowns and wings from the Altered Art and Cherubs stamp sets, cut them out, added glitter and adhered them. I printed out Inspiration Angel on the computer and cut out the tags.
