Good THT morning! That's the last time I'll be starting a Tuesday with that phrase, for 2 reasons. First my guest designer gig is up with Rubbernecker, second, the Treasure Hunt Tuesdays are ending after today. Dave or Mr. Rubbernecker has something new in the works, I'm really anxious to see what he's up to! In the mean time make sure you take advantage of the sales going on at Rubbernecker Stamps! Like I said this is the last Treasure Hunt so you have to play along! Go check out the Rubbernecker Blog to get the details on how to find the treasure! Good Luck!
I have had such a great time designing for Rubbernecker, the design team is one of the best! I consider everyone a good friend and I'll sure miss them. I got to spend time with Sherry and Tex at Tex's house last summer at a Hanna Stamps get together. I hope to get to meet the rest of the talented girls too! OK - enough of that, I don't want to start boo-hooing!!
Are you ready for Spring? Is it here yet? I want to see some flowers, sunshine and birds building their nests! This Rubbernecker stamp Birdhouse by Stamp Oasis will sure get you in the mood for Spring! I used Cosmo Cricket Little Girls paper, the cute sentiment came in the paper pack. I colored the image with my Copic markers. I used my Ranger Distress ink pad Antique Linen and wiped it on the image after I colored it to distress the image and tone down the white cardstock. I used my Martha Stewart butterfly punch and covered it with Art Glitter - vintage glass Sea Sprite. I stapled it on the card with a red staple. I used my red Spica glitter pen on the red parts of the image. The faux stitching is done with my tracing wheel.
Well, it's back to the grindstone for me today. I hope y'all have great day, thanks for stopping by!

I was inspired to make a round Christmas card after seeing Sherry's pretty ornaments she made. I used my Creative Memories circle cutter to cut the card base. I stitched on some Basic Grey Fruitcake paper. I used this sweet little stamp by Stamp Oaisis, Christmas Mini #3. Isn't he cute trying to climb up on the ornament? I used Distress Stickles Fired Brick on his hat and the scallops on the circle. I made the white fur on his hat with Liquid Applique, just spread it on and heat it with a heat tool and it puffs up. I paper pieced the ornament and put Martha Stewart yellow gold glitter on the little highlight.
The sentiment on the inside of the card is from Rubbernecker.

Love Bugs
Our Craft Lounge is releasing 3 new stamp sets, So In Love, True Love and Love Bugs. I made this tag card with the Love Bugs set. Look at the mushrooms, I love mushrooms!! My mom collects Merry Mushroom kitchen stuff. It was made in the 70's for Sears in Japan. Mom's collection started with a canister set that was my aunts. I've got her a cream & sugar set, salt & pepper shakers, a clock, napkin holder & coffee cups. There is a shop in Heber Springs that I've got several pieces from. I'll have to take a picture and show you what it looks like if you don't know, very 70's, ahhh, the good old days LOL!
Anyway, I had a lot of fun with these mushrooms and sweet bugs. The tiny butterflies are glittered up with my Spica glitter pens. The mushrooms are all colors, love the heart shaped spots on them!
I did some masking here and there. The background on 2 of the panels is made from a stamp in the set.
The velvet flowers are by Maya Road, I got those at Archivers a couple of years ago when I went on our stamping retreat. The 1 and only time I've been to Archivers, no wait, we went twice, LOL!
The brads in the center of the flowers are by Queen & Co. The fun, fun paper is by My Minds Eye, Just Dreamy 2.
I colored everything with my Copic markers. Our Craft Lounge has Copic sets for sale now. They come in Brights, Earthy and Pastel and the colors were hand picked by Copic's own Marianne Walker.

Home Sweet Home
Well Sandy and Cindy have done it again! This is a card from the new Home Sweet Home large stamp set that's being released today at Crafty Secrets. There are 22 stamps in this set, 4 scenes to color, sentiments, a key, flower borders and little flourishes. I LOVE it. I had so much fun coloring this scene, I had Copic's everywhere, LOL!
The pattern paper is from the Earthy Paper Pad. I used my slit punch to make the scallops on the end of the paper. The sentiment is on a small tag I made.
The yummy ribbon is by Martha Stewart. I used Distress Stickles, Antique Linen around the edge of the image, I love the vintage look of the glitter.
Christmas is almost here, the hustle and bustle will soon be over for another year. It's hard to believe this year is almost done. It's been a wild one, in many ways!

Don't forget about the BIG SALE going on at Rubbernecker...

I picked up a few of these notebooks at an office supply outlet for .50 each. They are like the ones from Target, a little smaller, but, they are a great size. There is an elastic holder on the inside edge to hold the pen. I think I need more. Too bad Batesville is an hour away from me, everything is an hour or more away from me, sheesh.
I did the cracked glass technique on the iris image. Rubbernecker has some really pretty iris images, I think I have them all!
I used several pieces of t!m holtz hardware. As I order it I put it in a jar, I love pouring out the jar of goodies and digging through it for my projects!
Supplies: Stamps - Iris by Rubbernecker Stamps. Paper - Confetti white & black CS, Basic Grey Two Scoops. Ink - Ranger Distress Black Soot , VersaMark & Copic markers. Acces. - notebook, Martha Stewart border punch (for the paper on the edge), vintage lace, ribbon, velvet rick rack, brads, clear embossing powder, metal corners, t!m holtz hardware.

Ohhhhhhh, I have to show you what I got in the mail from eclecticPaperie yesterday...I LOVE it, it holds my blending tools and a couple of old stampers I've picked up at flea markets. I need to order more blending tools to fill it up!
I hope y'all are warm and snug today, thanks for stopping by!

Beano ornaments
If you follow my friend and fellow Crafty Secrets team member Lisa Zappa's blog, you know that her mom (hi, momma LZ Ü) found her a bunch of these Beano cards. They are just like Bingo, but, Beano, funny, huh?! Anyway, LZ's making Christmas tree ornaments out of them for a tree in her stamp room and I'm helping her out by making a couple for her. They were fun to make and I know her tree will be so fun when it's done!
They are on there way to you LZ, finally, LOL!!
This is one of the cards and some tinsel LZ sent to get me started.
I used a Crafty Secrets Christmas Cotton Scraps image on the square one. It says In the meadow we can build a snowman...I love that song, I zigzag stitched it on and pulled some threads around it to shabby it up. Then I went around the edges with my Ranger Distress Vintage Photo ink pad. I used a t!m holtz mask, Flourish, on both cards and inked over it with more Distress ink. I also used some t!m Grungeboard - Seasonal, the tree and a snowflake, I inked it up too. The ornaments are punched with a 5/8" circle punch out of a chipboard coaster and glittered up with vintage glass Art Glitter - Holly

For this post I decided to alter a paperweight. I really like making these, they are small and they serve a useful purpose and make great gifts, I love how the work is magnified too. I used a vintage paperweight I found at a yard sale/flea market. I've seen them new on line, but, I seem to have pretty good luck finding them in my junkin' quests!
Here's a picture of some I've picked up. The heart shaped one is by Avon, it's the 2nd one I've found.
Supplies: Stamps - The Girls Tim Holtz Collection. Ink - Ranger Distress Black Soot, Antique Linen, Vintage Photo ink pads, Copic markers. Paper - Neenah white. Acces. - vintage paperweight, tiny clip by SU!, Spica glitter pen, crystals, lace, glass glitter, the word smile cut from an old childrens book, Grungeboard Elements (crown), Silver Metallic Paint Dabber (the crown is painted and then sprinkled with the glass glitter), chipboard coaster for the backing, E6000.
Well, I better be going, off to work.
Life in the fast lane.
Have a great day!

WINTER CLEARANCE SALE STARTS TUESDAY 12/2All Rubbernecker, Stamp Oasis and KK Original images
are on sale until 12/16 or while supplies last
All discounts, free offers and coupons still apply during the sale. I decided to make tall card using the Rubbernecker Stocking Cat, it's a large stamp, perfect for a tall card! I used the Stamp Oasis Music Background on the green paper and the Season's Sentiments Text on the paper strips on the bottom. I did some stitching on the stocking with linen thread. The stamp has the stitches on it so I just used those as a guide for my stitching. I used Distress Stickles, Antique Linen for some sparkle and Ranger Distress Walnut Stain, Vintage Photo and Fired Brick ink pads.
