History

Little is detailed about the Venom symbiote's past before the zombie plague arrived on Earth-2149, however it can be presumed that it followed much the same path as its Earth-616 counterpart.

Death

Somehow their host, Eddie, was zombified during the infection that was released throughout the Earth turning all living beings into zombies.

Venom was in the horde of zombified supervillains attacking Galactus, The Devourer was taken down by the combined efforts of the Power Cosmic Zombies, but the supervillains tried to claim the body and a fight ensued. Spider-Man and Venom clashed, but Eddie was shot in the chest by him, Venom eventually disassociated himself from Brock as he was dying from the virus. What happened after that with the symbiote is unknown.

Trivia

• Apparently the Venom Symbiote's weakness to zombie infection is unique to this reality while other versions of Venom do not seem to affect them.
  • Several incarnations of the Venom Symbiote were linked to Zombies from the Deadlands and do not seem to affect their prutefied condition.
