History

After the symbiote matter left behind by Bedlam's Child and Meridius fused with the Promethium from the Hellnir that Thor melted with his power, the substance that resulted from such combination seeped through cracks in Asgard's bedrock into Donald Blake's torture chamber and dripped into his venom-ruined eyes, bonding him to the newborn symbiote Serpent.
