History

A sled dog belonging to the Christmastown military base, Ivan accompanied Trish Robertson to the Ararat Corporation Arctic Research Facility to return some borrowed DVDs. While Trish ventured inside to investigate a voice pleading for help, a clone of the Venom symbiote - the source of the distress call - bonded to Ivan and infiltrated Christmastown, leaving the dog severely weakened.

After receiving medical care, Ivan was placed with the other dogs, but was taken over by the symbiote a second time to escape the base. Draining Ivan of his vitality, the symbiote slaughtered several wild animals before taking over a raven abandoning the dog's corpse.
