Avenger Prime's Multiversal Avengers is a collection of Avengers recruited from the Multiverse. They originally had a Tower at the God Quarry, until it was destroyed during a conflict against Mephisto's Council of Red and the Multiversal Masters of Evil.[1] Now they are based at Avengers Mountain in the God Quarry.[2]
History
Avenger Prime founded a multiversal Avengers after he fell into the God Quarry. Alongside Avenger Prime's Deathloks, they operated out of an Avengers Tower at the God Quarry to defend the Multiverse.[3][4]
While monitoring the timestream, Avenger Prime found chronal shockwaves across multiple realities and sent his Deathloks to investigate, but they were slaughtered.[4] Mephisto and the Council of Red sought the power of First Firmament under the God Quarry and organized an elite team called the Multiversal Masters of Evil, led by Doom Supreme, to help them destablize the Multiverse and weaken the barrier at the God Quarry.[5][6][7] The surviving Deathloks went to other realities to warn about the coming danger and to recruit members for the multiversal Avengers.[5][8] Some multiversal Avengers also went on missions,[9] while most of them stayed in Avengers Tower at the God Quarry.[10][11] Ghost Rider (Robbie Reyes) aided in the recruitment process and they gathered several "pillars" such as multiversal counterparts of Black Panther, Captain America, Thor, Captain Marvel, and Iron Man.[8]
Avenger Prime left the Tower to go to Earth-616's prehistory, where the modern Avengers were about to meet their prehistoric counterparts; however, he was ambushed by the Council of Red. The army of Mephistos launched a massive assault on the God Quarry to take it over and dig through the barrier to the First Firmament.[11][6] With help from the Goddesses of Thunder and Old Man Phoenix, they were able to repel the Mephistos, but Doom Supreme and his own multiversal army of Doctor Dooms launched their own attack on the Quarry with the same goal as the Mephistos.[12] Freed from the Council of Red, Avenger Prime summoned the modern and prehistoric Avengers as reinforcements.[3] While the armies raged, Earth-616's Mephisto absorbed many of his counterparts to become a giant Mephisto and Avenger Prime called for more backup across space and time.[7][13] Despite this, they were unable to stop the barrier to the First Firmament from being breached.[14]
The assemblage of Avengers dealt with the remaining evil forces and turned their attention to sealing the breach to the First Firmament, as its overwhelming power would destroy the entire Multiverse. Unable to seal it from the God Quarry, Robbie Reyes went inside the First Firmament to seal the hole from the other side. In the aftermath, a Phoenix and Starbrand sacrificed themselves to fix the damaged Earths the Masters of Evil had attacked. Some of the Multiversal Avengers decided to stay with Avenger Prime instead of returning to the original realities, and they continued to operate in the God Quarry in their new base, Avengers Mountain.[2]See Also
