Mukade (蜈蚣) is a member of the Night Troop and Head of the Transportation Unit. He often carries his comrades on his large shadow bug transports.
Appearance[]
Mukade has long, black, shaggy hair, and wears a mask that covers his mouth, unless using his powers.[1]
Personality[]
Mukade is soft-spoken and quiet. He does seem to be irrational at times, as he told Takemitsu that he owes him money in exchange for his assistance, despite the gravity of the situation.

Mukade's bugs carrying comrades
Shadow Bug Transports: Mukade produces mysterious threads from his mouth, which in turn produces many-legged shadow bugs that look like centipedes. For some unknown reason, Shuji Sumimura, who is usually unable to see Ayakashi, can clearly see Mukade's bugs.[1] Mukade generally uses the same, large bug to transport a group[1], but reserves smaller ones for individual people.[2]
Ayakashi Majiri: When Shuji Sumimura first meets Mukade, the Ayakashi-detecting stone he carries reacts. This implies that Mukade (and more than likely, his bugs) are at least partly Ayakashi.[1] However, Mukade is never implied to have an Ayakashi transformation.
