Hakudo (白道, Hakudō) is a member of the Night Troop under Masamori Sumimura. He is often partnered with Odo.[1]
Appearance[]
Hakudo is a slim man with a shaven head. In the anime, he wears a necklace of Buddhist prayer beads called either "juzu" (数珠, counting beads) or "nenju" (念珠, thought beads). The beads on his necklace are much smaller than the ones on Odo's necklace.
Personality[]
He is fairly serious, especially compared to his partner Odo.
Plot[]
Arresting Yomi and Yoki[]
Hakudo and Odo are sent to Karasumori[2] to arrest Yomi Kasuga for defecting. They assist the four local Kekkaishi in defeating Yomi's ogre Yoki. Hakudo warns that his superiors may visit later to discuss the incident. Both Yomi and Yoki are taken away, presumably to be tried and executed.[3]

Hakudo's Moon Blade
Geppa (げっぱ): Moon Blade; Hakudo has the ability to shoot two energy discs in the shape of a crescent moon, which slice through their targets.
