In this article, Iâll explore what it takes to create your own three-legged OAuth server allowing you, for example, to create your own secure API which you can release publicly. When dealing with OAuth, you will typically see it implemented as a two-legged or three-legged
Access your own data Write your own programs to access your data, using HTTP Basic authenÂtication, which is much easier to deal with. Most programÂming languages have built-in support for it, and we donât even care which one you use.
