FOOD for ALL Program
As a community-owned grocery co-op, we are committed to making healthy food accessible to everyone in our communities, regardless of income. A key tenet of that commitment is creating an inclusive store where anyone can shop for nutritious, healthful food.
Our FOOD for ALL program provides access to co-op ownership, healthy natural food, and shopping experiences where all feel welcome.
To participate in the FOOD for ALL program, an individual or family member must have an active EBT card (previously known as Food Stamps). This includes recipients of SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families), SUN Bucks, and other assistance programs.
FOOD for ALL benefits make shopping at the co-op more affordable for those in our community experiencing food insecurity. FOOD for ALL benefits include a free owner share and a 20% discount on all products except for beer and wine.
The Food for All discount provides greater access to healthy food throughout our grocery store. Owners participating in the FOOD for ALL program can use the 20% FOOD for ALL discount to—
- Shop for fresh, nutritious foods, including produce, dairy, eggs, grains, meat, poultry, and seafood, as well as a variety of plant-based foods.
- Buy grocery items beyond what EBT covers—from nutritious prepared on our Food Bars to household items, baby products, and health and wellness products.
- Enjoy an inclusive, friendly environment where everyone feels welcome to shop, eat a delicious meal, and gather with friends and family.
With our FOOD for ALL program, the whole community eats better!
FOOD for ALL FAQs
How does the 20% FOOD for ALL discount work?
Individuals with an active EBT card are eligible for the FOOD for ALL program. FOOD for ALL owners receive a 20% discount on all food and grocery items sold in the store (except beer and wine) when they use their owner number at the register. The discount is applied automatically, and they may choose how to pay for their purchases—with an EBT card or any other form of payment accepted.
NOTE: An EBT card may only be used to pay for EBT-eligible products.
Individuals with an active EBT card may sign up for the FOOD for ALL program at the register or by emailing our Owner Shares team at [email protected].
What is an owner share?
FOOD for ALL participants own a share in the co-op and have full ownership rights, including the right to vote, run in Board elections, and receive weekly owner rewards, owner discounts, and other benefits.
How are we funding the 20% FOOD for ALL discount?
