Alex Salemme
Alex is the Hazing Prevention and Response Specialist for Community Standards & Student Conduct. Alex joined the team in October 2023 and earned his B.S. in Middle-Level Education from Winthrop University. Alex received his M.Ed. in Education Administration from the University of South Carolina and his M.Ed. in Learning Design and Technology from Winthrop University. Alex supports campus partners with hazing prevention initiatives and programming. Alex has a goal to run a marathon in 2024. Email Alex at [email protected].

Alyssa Galmish
Alyssa is the Assistant Director of Student Care for Community Standards & Student Conduct. Alyssa joined the team in January of 2019. Alyssa earned her B.A. in Communication Studies at Kent State University and her M.Ed. in Higher Education Counseling – Student Affairs from Northern Arizona University. Alyssa provides case management for students involved in the student conduct and behavioral intervention team processes and provides direction for the Respondent Resource Program at all three UW campuses. Amanda Myhre
Amanda started at the University of Washington as a student in Scandinavian Studies in the fall of 1996. Just two years later, she began working for the Vice President for Student Affairs (now Student Life) and has spent 26 years supporting students at UW. Amanda joined the CSSC team in the fall of 2024 after 9 years assisting the vice president and another 17 in LiveWell as a Student Care Coordinator supporting students through the Suicide Intervention Program, Hardship Withdrawals (Former Quarter Drops), tuition refunds, housing or food insecurity, and connecting them to resources like counseling and disability accommodations. She currently splits her time between helping students navigate University policies and systems through strategic outreach to students in need of support, and at Disability Resources for Students providing disability accommodations. Amanda loves diet coke and basset hounds, and is the proud companion of an elderly basset named Freckles. Her soulbasset, Wilbur, passed away after 8 years together. Audrey Phan
Audrey is the Marketing and Communications Intern for Community Standards & Student Conduct. Audrey joined the team in June of 2024. Audrey is currently a junior at the University of Washington Seattle majoring in Informatics with goals of becoming a designer. Audrey supports CSSC’s office in marketing and communications efforts through designing content, assisting promotional campaigns, and engaging with students and faculty on UW campuses. Emily Fine
Emily is a Conduct Specialist for Community Standards & Student Conduct. She joined the team in the Fall of 2024. Emily earned her B.A. in International Relations and Religious Studies at University of California, Davis, and her M.S. in Conflict Management and Resolution at the University of San Diego. She strives to support students and empower them to take accountability through the conduct process. Ed Mirecki
Ed is the Director of Community Standards & Student Conduct. Ed joined CSSC in the Fall of 2019. Ed earned his B.A. in Psychology and Studio Arts from the University of New Mexico, and his master’s degree in Educational Administration from the University of Wisconsin. Ed’s primary responsibility is the administration of the Student Conduct Code and leadership of the department. Ed has two Sheltie dogs named Hondo and Biscuit. Email Ed at [email protected].

Jessi is the Assistant Director of Student Conduct for Community Standards & Student Conduct. Jessi joined the team in the Winter of 2023. Jessi earned a B.S. in Global Studies & Policy and M.S. in Conflict & Dispute Resolution from the University of Oregon. Jessi also received an M.S. in Educational Leadership & Policy from Portland State University. Jessi supports the day-to-day operations in CSSC and works closely with campus partners to ensure a fair and equitable process for students. Michelle Moxley
Michelle is the Program Assistant for Community Standards & Student Conduct. Michelle joined the CSSC team in August of 2024 and earned her B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in International Business from Seattle Pacific University. Michelle supports the day-to-day operations of the office as well as assists the CSSC team with administrative processes. Michelle loves exploring coffee shops and is a powerlifter in her free time. Moses is a Conduct Support Assistant for Community Standards & Student Conduct. Moses joined the team in mid-April 2024. Moses is currently a graduate student at the University of Washington School of Law, earning his degree in Jurisprudence. Prior to that, Moses earned his B.S. degree in Criminal Justice. She earned B.A. degrees in English, Linguistics, and Korean Language & Culture from Indiana University before going on to the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa to pursue her M.A. in Second Language Studies.
