Unit 4
Week 2 Lesson 29

The Future
Elarnie G. Garchitorena
San Lorenzo Elementary School
Dust
Poison Car
Do you want to live in this beautiful place? Why? Why not?
Water and natural resources are about to disappear.
What can you do to prevent this?
The Future
What does the future hold us for? I know that I can today
Smog-filled skies and poison cars, Do all the things I’ve said,
And broken land with useless dust But when today is yesterday
And nature’s beauty behind bars. Will all these things be dead?
Can I ever show my children, This problem is huge.
(If they ever come my way) As we slowly see,
The beauty of a sunset We must fix it quickly,
At the end of the day? In words and thoughts and deeds.
Can I walk into a forest,
And surround myself with trees,
Yet know that it will remain,
For me to visit as I wish.
