The school year 2022 - 2023 has been a productive and fulfilling one for the Araling
Panlipunan subject at Cabalaoangan Elementary School. This report highlights the various
accomplishments and activities carried out throughout the year to enhance students'
understanding and appreciation of Philippine history, culture, and society.

II. Curriculum Implementation

 Comprehensive Lesson Plans: Teachers developed detailed lesson plans that

aligned with the K - 12 curriculum standards. These plans incorporated a variety of
teaching methods, including lectures, discussions, group activities, and multimedia
resources, to make the learning experience more engaging and interactive for students.
 Integration of Local History and Culture: To make the subject more relevant and
meaningful to students, local history and culture were integrated into the lessons.
Students learned about the rich heritage and traditions of San Quintin, Pangasinan, and
how they have contributed to the development of the Philippines as a nation.
 Use of Technology in Teaching: Teachers utilized educational technology tools,
such as interactive whiteboards, online resources, and educational apps, to enhance the
teaching and learning process. These tools helped to make the lessons more visual,
engaging, and accessible to students.

III. Student Learning Outcomes

 Improved Knowledge and Understanding: Through the various activities and

lessons conducted throughout the year, students demonstrated a significant
improvement in their knowledge and understanding of Philippine history, culture, and
society. They were able to recall important events, figures, and concepts, and apply their
knowledge to real-life situations.
 Enhanced Critical Thinking and Analytical Skills: Students were encouraged to
think critically and analytically about the topics discussed in class. They were asked to
analyze primary and secondary sources, evaluate different perspectives, and draw their
own conclusions. This helped to develop their critical thinking and analytical skills, which
are essential for success in higher education and in the workplace.
 Development of Social and Civic Responsibility: The Araling Panlipunan subject
also aimed to develop students' social and civic responsibility. Students were taught
