Minutes of Meeting
CLUSTER 2

I. Date : July 28, 2023


II. Venue: Sugbay Dos Elementary School

IV. Activity to be focus on:

1. Personal organization of ideas and feedback about lessons:


contents, components, learnings within a grade and a subject.
2. Collaborative discussion and sharing about lessons: contents,

performance: abilities, processes used, interesting occurrences,

The Lac session started with the usual parts of the program as the singing of
the National Anthem and a prayer through audio presentation. Mrs. Ponciana
Dalaota shared some food for thought to inspire us with some word of wisdom.
Attendance was checked by school through singing of the NLC Jingle led by Mrs.
Jingle C. Gambuta. It was fun and teacher’s talent was shown in form of singing, rap
and dancing. Mrs. Charlita E. Banac stated the purpose of the session to enlighten
the teachers and Mrs. Lusviminda P. Malinao led the energizer.
The first facilitator was Master Teacher Charlita E. Banac who talked and
explained about NLC Matters. She elaborated the different camp from each stages,
emphasized the minimum and maximum number of learners in every camp.
Volunteer teacher participant had given a chance to ask questions and was given
answer by the facilitator with the assistance of school head Merlyn P. Sulay.
After the session, volunteer teacher participants were group according to
each camp. There were three groups in each key stages wherein volunteer teachers
shared the different fun learning activities, the materials and procedure to which
each of us is learning and excited to apply those new fun-filled activities in school.
Volunteer teacher May Torres shared some games she used in teaching like word
relay, snake and ladder, and penoy henyo. Also, we conducted collaborative
discussions and feedback about lessons, contents, components, learning within a
grade and a subject. Moreover, we focused on sharing different learning activities to
promote learning with fun.

NARRATIVE REPORT ON 1st LAC Session National Learning Camp (NLC)


CLUSTER 2

The National Learning Camp (NLC) aims to create a camp-like atmosphere by


integrating fun and engaging activities to foster learner interest, socio-emotional
skills, personal growth and character development. It also prepares them to take on
greater academic challenges in higher grade levels while supporting the professional
development of teachers. In relation to this, the cluster 2 NLC volunteer teachers
gathered together at Sugbay Dos Elementary School for a Lac Session to be
conducted every Monday and Friday.
