Adventure of Pepe and Eddie.”
Teacher reads the story
One day, while sitting at their yard Pepe and Eddie looked at the wide sky
and thought of going to the outer space. Then they began their trip to the moon in
a big rocket. When they finally got to the moon, they got so excited and they
jumped happily. Pepe and Eddie had a great time playing in the outer space. They
sang a lullaby. They danced enthusiastically and they ran all over the different
regions of the moon. The two boys had a wonderful experience playing together.
That’s why Eddie and Pepe grew tired. At that point, they decided to go back to
their house and take a rest.

Are they important in constructing/making sentences?
Note: In this stage, the teacher should let pupils be aware that verbs are part of
their day to day living. That they use action words/ verbs in communicating with
people daily.
F. Application
Group Activity: The teacher divides the class in groups of five and he/she directs
their attention to the class tree.
Note: Before conducting the class he/she pasted some pictures at the back of
each fruit. These are pictures of objects that pupils use or encounter everyday to
make the lesson relatable and meaningful.
Say: Hidden behind each fruit is a picture. Each group will pick one fruit and will
be given 2 minutes to create as many sentences as they can. The sentences should
be based on your own experinces as to how you use each object. The group with
the most (correct) sentences wins! The prize for the winner is a pack of goodies.
Example: the object is a pair of slippers
