ANNOTATION During the pre-assessment, I found out that one of my learner is


having a hard time recognizing the letters and letter sounds. I
contacted the parents through facebook messenger and made
arrangement on how to help the child. We use the laminated reading
materials and Panimulang Pagbasa for Grade One as one of the tools
in learning how to read. With the help of the parent, the learner
made a significant progress in reading

ANNOTATION While checking the modules I found out that most of my


learners are having difficulty in some subject areas. With the
parents help and constant practice using flashcards drill and
answering window card S1, the child made a significant
progress. The parent send pictures and videos of the child for
monitoring.

Do you feel that this collection of work really reflects your abilities
IMAGE and what you have achieved this year through the LDM course?
Why or why not?

This school year is no ordinary year in my teaching


experience. Most of it cannot be captured by pictures
and videos behind the scene of what have transpire
during the distance learning modalities. What reflects
here are only some of the achievement's but most of all…
not all can be recorded. Unwritten and unspoken toils and
turmoil's in preparing the modules, reaching out those
learners in need and gathering the modules together.
Consequently, not to mention the financial shortage,
physical fatigue, mental health problem of each
individual have experienced these days. Its just
nowadays they realized the importance of teachers in
every classroom and how hard it was to teach a child. We
cannot turn back the time but we can change the future
for the better. One of the educators Dwayne Reed once
said "my hope is that our new normal today exposes what
was wrong with our old normal yesterday and sets us up for
a better normal tomorrow.”
