What are the foods you can see there?
Teacher will show the cakes.
Isn’t it that before they will eat the cake, the
celebrant will slice first the cake?
Suppose you are the celebrant and you are to
sliced your first cake into two and the other
cake into four.
2. Presentation
Let us take a look at the cake. How it was
divided?
How many equal parts does it have?
How about the other cake? Into how many
equal parts it was divided?
What do you think is our lesson for today?
3. Discussion
Teacher shows different shapes and divide it
into 2 and into 4.
If a whole is divided into 2 equal parts, what
do we call each part?
What about a whole divided into 4, what do
you call it?
