A. Preliminary Activities
1. A Text A Day
a. Reading of the text
When I get ready for bed, the first thing I do is brush my teeth.
Then, I go to the bathroom. Next, I put on my pajamas. After that, I
read books with my dad. Then, I lie down in my bed to go to sleep.
b. Comprehension Questions:
At what time of the day does the speaker in the story do these things?
What is the first thing he does?
What does he wear at night?
What does he do with his dad?
Arrange the following events according to how they happened in the
story.

2. Drill
Let students read the following words with the -ough sound.

Give a Spelling test afterwards.
3. Review
Present sentences that show cause-effect relationship.
