    One more farting sound. Much laughter.
    Piggy: Dont see whats so amazin
    Ralph: I bet there are people. I bet there are some others here.
    Ralph: Its like a huge eye looking down at you
    And I bet if I blow Ill call them. Theyll come. I bet. And -
    Piggy: Its hot, thats what it is, hot (not interested)
    Piggy: Ant what?
    Ralph turns around and notices him for the first time
    Ralph: I dont know what.
    Ralph: Thats a funny T-shirt
    Pause
    Piggy: My auntie gave it to me (Offended)
    Piggy: Callem then. If theyre there less callem. Eh? Blow. And
    Pause (awkward) letem all come.

    Ralph: From down here. (Indicates his diaphragm). Its like a flute.
    Ralph: What does your auntie say? Im in the orchestra.

    Piggy: A lot Piggy: You what?

    Maybe theyre all dead anyway Ralph: The flute. You know. Not the flute. The saxophone. Or the
    clarinet.
    Ralph: What?
    Piggy: Uh? (confused)

    Ralph: Dont you know anything? It makes a noise
    Ralph: Dont be stupid? (This idea frightens him)
    He spits and blows. A fantastic farting sound comes out.

    Both boys fall about laughing
    They got bombs now could
    Do it again. Since youre in the orchestra.
    Ralph: theyre not all dead, stupid. Not everyone in England
    stupid. Not the whole of the British Isles. Not our Parents (He And another farting noise
    moves centre stage and does a hand stand)
