Kitchen Island Lights
Next comes the question of how many kitchen island light fixtures you should install. While this question may seem fairly straightforward, sometimes it can be complicated and cause your decision making process to come to a standstill. Typically in design you’ll want to follow the popular “rule of three,” which says that balance is achieved by repeating elements three times. You can easily utilize this idea by dangling three pendant lights or chandeliers over your kitchen island, but depending on the size and style of the lights you’ve chosen, this may not actually work well at all. If the scale of your island lighting is on the large side, if your island is smaller, or if you have both a small island and larger lighting to work with, you can opt for two or even one fixture instead of three.
Add color, style and light to your kitchen with an island light from Houzz.

Very friendly, honest, and does great work. Nice to support small businesses especially when they do great work.
Ken, Thank you for delivering everything I asked for during our basement renovation project. You helped us update our ugly, non-functional basement into something that we could be proud of by turning it into a space where we could have room for guests, an office for my husband, a work-out area, a media room, an updated bathroom, a computer area and extra storage for my teenage son, an art space for my teenage daughter, a kitchenette for morning coffee and parties, floor to ceiling pantry cabinets for extra storage, a hearth area that is Pinterest worthy and all within budget and on my timeline. In addition to that, the new laminate flooring, agreeable grey painted walls, new white trim, and painted black ceilings are fabulous. Now, I'm a realist and this isn't my first renovation project. I knew there would be extenuating factors that could cause the timeline to extend and surprises that might increase the agreed-upon budget. But, in general, everything went smoothly. I was incredibly impressed with your guys, Dilshat and Farouz. They were some of the HARDEST WORKING people I have ever met. I could always count on them to be here on time and I felt comfortable with them in my home and knew that they were doing exactly what they needed to be doing to get the job done right. Not only were they hard-working, they were incredibly skilled, especially with things like tile work. My shower looks absolutely beautiful and the custom niche they created is one of the best I've ever seen. Something I particularly appreciated about you was your communication. You always answered the phone when I called and returned texts promptly. Additionally, you checked in frequently to let me know your timeline and let me know if you were ever running late. I would use Apex Homes and your team for jobs in the future. Not only that, I would recommend you to friends and family. Thanks again Ken and I'm sure we'll see you again when I decide to do another home improvement project! Respectfully, Jessica G.
