Ask us about our E-Design Services!!! Shirley Strom has over 15 years of experience in all aspects of the interior design business. Her experience consists of commercial and residential design, renovation, general contracting, color consultations, furniture sales, lighting design, home and office organization, kitchen and bath design. She is passionate about beautiful design and is continually trying out new paint finishes, furniture arrangements, room layouts, lighting design and accessories. She has worked in a variety of design styles, including mid-century modern, contemporary, Hollywood glam, eclectic, Asian, as well as traditional spaces. Prior to her career in design, she has an extensive background of more than 20 years of non-profit management, managing million dollar budgets and staffs of more than a dozen professionals. She has designed exceptional spaces in both residential and commercial properties in Missouri, New York, California and Colorado. Her portfolio includes restaurants, private offices, and condos at the Chase Park Plaza. Shirley is a graduate of Webster University, Saint Louis, Missouri. Katie Marvin has always had a passion for interior design. She has followed in her mother’s footsteps and teamed up with her to create S&K Interiors. She is attending college and majoring in Interior Design. She has been on projects with Shirley over the last 10 years during any spare time gaining on the job training and experience. She has a background in customer service, branding/merchandising, sales, event planning, managing a small staff, and a member of ASID. The journey is to make S&K Interiors a company that “creates spaces to inspire”.

Lynzi Wise is an award-winning designer with the Ethan Allen Chesterfield, MO design team known for her attention to detail and extensive product knowledge. Driven by a passion for interior design, Lynzi draws upon her education and expertise in space planning, color, and pattern mixing to create stylish solutions for her clients. Having worked on homes ranging from rustic retreats, classic homesteads, small-scale spaces, timeless dwellings, and everything in between, Lynzi has the talent to bring your visions to reality. Lynzi graduated from Illinois State University with a bachelor’s degree in interior and environmental design and business administration. She has worked with the Peoria Playhouse Children’s Museum and with the Girl Scouts of Central Illinois to inspire future interior designers. Lynzi is the recipient of a nation-wide award for Outstanding Living Room Design in 2018 and multiple Ethan Allen Spirit Awards and Houzz recognitions.

Heidi Sowatsky is the only award-winning, full-service interior designer who specializes in helping St. Louis-area financial services professionals and other prominent clients enhance the beauty and value of their homes. Heidi, a former financial analyst, works with her clients to add the “Wow!” to their residences and to gain the greatest return on their design investment. She has served a wide variety of clients during an illustrious design career in which her work has been published locally, internationally, and she has appeared on TV. Heidi is known as a gifted interior design consultant who helps clients identify and overcome their most pressing challenges. She served in a similar capacity in her role as ombudsman and customer liaison during her earlier career with Edward Jones, the national financial services firm. Her clients today benefit from the budgeting acumen she gained from her 25 years of experience in the financial industry. And they benefit, too, from the international interior design insights and perspective she has acquired while living and traveling around the world. She has visited more than 50 countries on five continents. Heidi and her associates have won numerous design and sales awards from Decorating Den Interiors. Their affiliation with the world’s largest and longest-established decorating franchise organization enables the SWAT Design Team to offer the St. Louis area’s largest selection of luxury furnishings and in-home decorating services. The SWAT Design Team, one of the region’s premier design firms, offers services ranging from project management and space planning to color consultations and the selection of window treatments and furniture. The firm has been among Decorating Den’s top selling franchisees since Heidi launched the business 14 years ago. Heidi earned a Global Executive MBA degree from Fuqua at Duke University, and a Bachelors of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan.
