Carafes

Of all beverage servers, the carafe is one of the most sophisticated and stylish. Not to be confused with decanters or pitchers, carafes are typically handleless vessels used to serve drinks, such as water. Their design is often slender, widening at the mouth so that you can easily pour with one hand. While most water carafes do not come with a stopper or lid, they can be found paired with a matching glass that fits nicely on top when not in use, making them exceptionally convenient to place near your bedside or in a guest room.

Also in the beverage serving family: the coffee carafe. It provides the perfect way to let guests refill their own mugs, and thanks to its insulated design you won’t have to worry about your brew getting cold. In fact, a thermal carafe can be used to serve chilled drinks, as well, so if a cool lemonade or tea sounds much more appropriate on a warm summer day you’ll be all set.
