About this audiobook
In this fairy tale with a sexy twist, she’s a penniless San Francisco seamstress. He’s the king of Italian couture. Who’s got designs on whom?
Boutique owner Kimber DiSanto has seen better days. She’s been dumped at the altar by Prince Charmless, her business went up in flames (literally), and now she’s stuck in Florence, Italy, with an ice-queen stepmother, to try to save her late father’s failing dress shop. Only one thing could make it worse: another man in her life. The arrogant Italian fashion tycoon offering to buy her father’s shop is as rich as he is sexy, and their attraction is off the charts. But Kimber’s not about to get burned again.
Women don’t say no to Matteo Moretti—and certainly not with Kimber’s stinging precision. With all the heat and fury sparking between them, Matteo can’t resist baiting the gorgeous American. His plan? Win her over one scorching kiss at a time.
Kimber tells herself it’s all just a game. That her broken heart isn’t in danger, and that Matteo’s touch does not make her Lady Land dance with joy. But sometimes it takes the fieriest of enemies to turn a fantasy into a real-life romance.

What our readers think
Readers find this title to be a mixed bag. Many enjoyed the funny banter, easy storyline, and found themselves laughing and smiling while reading. They appreciated the good plot and thought it was better than the first book in the series. However, some readers felt that the immaturity of the characters and the premise of the 'ex-step siblings' relationship was cringe-worthy. They also found it hard to connect with the characters and felt that the book was a disappointment compared to the previous ones in the series. Overall, it is a fun and enjoyable romance with some flaws.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5This was a surprisingly good one! Funny, snarky, swoony. The H was earnest and not a manwhore for once while the h sure had great quips. Love the situations with the dogs.
Narration was also great.
Just a note to Ms Geissinger: Italians do drive on the right sight of the road, same side as USA.1 person found this helpful

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I loved this book..In my Mind I see Melissa McCarthy as Kimber... not sure of the actors name for Mateo but, he has those beautiful Blue eyes and is dreamy as heck
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Worst one of the three books. Did not enjoy at all.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Love it, good story line quite funny as well. Love it
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I really liked another book in this series, but this one feels like it was written by a different author somehow. The characters are immature and self-involved. Unfortunately, it was hard for me to connect with them and be invested in them.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5A fun little romance not overly spicy enemies to friends to lovers
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I loved it,surprisingly good, good plot, this was better than the 1st book of this series.
- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The 26 days of kisses were utterly delightful! Four stars because she was so frequently threatening.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Loved it, loved it, loved it.❤❤ laughed out loud at parts and brought to tears at others.
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Loved it I love everything from this author my absolute favorite author anything you choose to read of hers you will not be disappointed.
- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I'm sorry, but the immaturity of the characters, and the whole premise that they're "ex-step siblings" without a divorce, just gave me cringe vibes. There were some funny parts, and the spice was just right, but again with the "ex-step siblings" thing, it was also kind of .. ugh. My heart broke for Kimber for all she went through, but some grown up conversations could've resolved a lot. I dunno, it was alright, but I caught myself asking why I was still listening to this book multiple times.
- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5One start. The first 2 books in series were over-the-top fantastic rom coms. I did not like this one...at all.
