About this audiobook

NOW A MAJOR MOTION PICTURE STARRING BLAKE LIVELY AND JUSTIN BALDONI!

From the #1 New York Times bestselling author of It Starts with Us and All Your Perfects, a “brave and heartbreaking novel that digs its claws into you and doesn’t let go, long after you’ve finished it” (Anna Todd, New York Times bestselling author) about a young woman in a new relationship who can’t stop thinking about her first love.

Lily hasn’t always had it easy, but that’s never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She’s come a long way from the small town where she grew up—she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. And when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily’s life seems too good to be true.

Ryle is assertive, stubborn, maybe even a little arrogant. He’s also sensitive, brilliant, and has a total soft spot for Lily. And the way he looks in scrubs certainly doesn’t hurt. Lily can’t get him out of her head. But Ryle’s complete aversion to relationships is disturbing. Even as Lily finds herself becoming the exception to his “no dating” rule, she can’t help but wonder what made him that way in the first place.

As questions about her new relationship overwhelm her, so do thoughts of Atlas Corrigan—her first love and a link to the past she left behind. He was her kindred spirit, her protector. When Atlas suddenly reappears, everything Lily has built with Ryle is threatened.

An honest, evocative, and tender novel, It Ends with Us is “a glorious and touching read, a forever keeper. The kind of book that gets handed down” (USA TODAY).

I don't often write reviews, I'm more of a listener than a share-er, but this book was excellent. It had the dark and twisted , the taboo side of life that I enjoy reading and writing but it also had passion, realism, and triumph. Who doesn't like a heroine in any form and that is what Lilly is. The more people talk about these taboo subjects the less taboo they become and the more open people will become about them. I know this was a hard book for the author to write but I truely feel she has added a gem to the novel world and a book of hope to those that might need it.
FYI, this is also the first book I've listen to by this author and I plan to pursue more of her writings after this introduction to her work.

It’s so well written and read. I recommend it. Note that it has a domestic violence theme, so if that triggers you, please don’t read. Otherwise, it’s phenomenal!

Really good book. Such a good read for women especially if you have been victimized in a relationship in your past or currently. Really helps you to pick yourself and stop the cycle of abuse.

I’ve heard a lot about Coleen Hoover and her work, so I was excited to try something from her, but I’m not overly impressed. The story was compelling, but the cliches and writing style wasn’t something that I would personally choose in a book. For the right audience though, I’m sure this book would be great!

This book was so great, the love triangle that Lily found herself in was very exciting. It was hard to read certain parts but overall this book is a great tool for women who feel alone and need support. I definitely recommend it. I also feel that this author was very brave to write the story and I have even more respect for her after listening to her point of view.

A beautiful story. This writer has a gift for developing the many nuances of love. How it unfolds and encapsulates is. How we manage to entrap ourselves in its many complications. People are complex and they aren’t just one thing. I love how well-developed the characters are. She knows just when and just how much to reveal so that the reader never finds themselves in a position to judge anyone too harshly all at once. I remained empathetic to Rile, Atlas, Lily, and her parents throughout the story. I loved the ending. It was hard, but beautiful. And I love all the characters as much as when they were first introduced.

I almost stopped listening. Idk why, I just wasn't feeling it at first. But I'm soooo glad I finished. It's been a while since a book really gave me the feels, but this one really, really did. I loved the journal entries about Atlas. I loved that the story took a few turns that I wasn't expecting. I really liked most of the characters, and the narration was pretty good. I can't wait to hear more about Atlas.

How can you love reading something that leaves you with so much sadness and heartbreak. But at the same time with a sense of hope and love.
Give this book a chance, it's so worth it.

I came upon this book due to tik tok and I do not regret it. Made me go go back to my habit of reading/listing in this case. The story made me laugh, cry, be mad, gave me panic attacks, overall the story is amazing and you can’t help to fall in love with the whole story and the characters. Highly recommend!

I felt more emotion in her last few minutes explaining why she wrote the book than the actual story. A good read for people in a similar situation.

Wow! This book gave me insight into abusive relationships. I have a deeper understanding, i never would have had otherwise. Colleen is a phenomenal writer, this is her second book I’m reading and my oh my, you completely forget that this is just a story, fiction. I get engulfed in emotions that I have to remind myself, it’s just a book. It hit me harder knowing this was not just fiction for her.
