All the Kitchen Gear You’re Loving (and Buying) That’s Now On Sale

Shopping cart voyeurs, rejoice. Here’s what Eater readers are scooping up this week.

If you buy something from an Eater link, Vox Media may earn a commission. See our ethics policy.

Francky Knapp is the commerce writer at Eater, and an award-winning writer with bylines in GQ, VICE, The Daily Beast, and other publications. A curious home cook with a deep love of Polish cabbage rolls, her devotion to food service journalism knows no bounds.

Listen, shopping from home rocks. I will always love browsing in a brick-and-mortar cookware store, but I also don’t need to carry a 64-quart lobster pot or a flight of Sichuan chili crisps on the subway. What I do miss, however, is quietly clocking what other shoppers have in their carts, both out of sheer curiosity and in the hopes that I, too, might be enlightened about some glorious item my life is missing (and that might even be on sale). I once saw a tall, stoic older woman in head-to-toe Versace toss a George Jensen wine funnel into her cart the way most people would a mango, and I have never ordered a wine funnel — albeit a simpler one from Amazon — so fast.

We have decided to share what your fellow Eater readers have bought on sale (again, and again) this fall, because shopping cart voyeurism is real and oh, so satisfying. We revisited the best deals from Amazon’s massive Prime Day 2.0 sale — or Prime Big Deals Days, as it’s now known — that are still live, and peeped on the discounted air fryers and Japanese chef’s knives Eater readers loved. And for those of you who looked for deals beyond Bezos’ behemoth, we also revisited some of the best deals on cookware and accessories from Amazon alternatives, from All-Clad pans to plissé glass containers and more.

Let’s find you some sweet, seasonal deals.

| Cosori

Cosori 6-quart air fryer

  • $90
  • $120
  • 26% off

Prices taken at time of publishing.

The air fryer to rule all air fryers. Eater’s special project director, Lesley Suter, uses the Cosori 6-quart workhorse almost daily, because it cleans up easily (no more oil splatters) and whips up one hell of a crisp on fried chicken. Eater readers copped it from our Prime Big Deals Days round-up, and it’s still on sale for folks in search of a multi-function (it also dehydrates) air fryer that can feed the whole family.

| Crate and Barrel

Laura Kim plissé glass canisters

  • $9
  • $15
  • 40% off

Prices taken at time of publishing.

Eater readers brought home this trio of glass jars from Weck while they were on sale, and we found a sweet (and still on sale) alternative from Crate & Barrel. These glass jars also come with chic wood lids, but the glass also has a nice plissé effect that will make everything contained in them feel three times fancier.

| Imarku

Imarku Japanese chef’s knife

  • $40
  • $66
  • 40% off

Prices taken at time of publishing.

I will never stop singing the praises of the Imarku chef’s knife, which performs just as well as some of my other blades that cost three times the price of this classic 8-inch chef’s knife. The blade is made out of high-carbon stainless steel, and it handles with an impressive amount of balance. Plus, it comes in a swanky little red velvet-lined box that makes it very giftable.

| KitchenAid

KitchenAid silicone oven mitt 2-pack

  • $18
  • $35
  • 50% off

Prices taken at time of publishing.

I have ruined far too many cloth oven mitts with melted cheese, which never would have happened had I been the proud owner of these silicone oven mitts from KitchenAid. These mitts can withstand temperatures of up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit, are designed with ridges for extra easier gripping, and, best of all, can be rinsed off in the sink.

| All-Clad

All-Clad D3® Tri-Ply stainless steel covered fry pan

  • $100
  • $190
  • 48% off

Prices taken at time of publishing.

The sale on this Eater reader-loved All-Clad fry pan is still going strong at Williams Sonoma. As Emma Alpern explained about her love of All-Clad’s classic fry pan in this Eater article, it’s durable, distributes heat evenly, and — in a sea of Instagram-catered cookware aesthetics — has a refreshingly classic aesthetic. In her words, “it looks like the platonic ideal of a pan. It’s a real pan’s pan.”

| ThermoPro

ThermoPro TP19H digital meat thermometer

  • $15
  • $25
  • 41% off

Prices taken at time of publishing.

We are on the cusp of prime holiday spread season, which means there has never been a better time to invest in a compact meat thermometer. This foldable option is easy to store in even your most crowded drawers, and it has a handy light-up display.

| Pyrex

Pyrex 22-piece glass food storage set

  • $53
  • $76
  • 31% off

Prices taken at time of publishing.

Eater readers also proved their organizational chops by bringing home this 12-pack of Pyrex glass storage containers. The sale has come and gone on that bundle, but we found an even more substantial set (and sale) on this 22-piece Pyrex storage container bundle from Macy’s.

| Wiselife

Wiselife cushioned kitchen mat

  • $14
  • $36
  • 62% off

Prices taken at time of publishing.

No more standing on those hard, Landlord Special™ floors while you do the dishes. Eater readers showed how much they value non-tired knees by bringing home this cushioned, non-slip floor mat for the kitchen.
