The Prince of Wales, 42, officially stepped into father mode as he greeted friendly well wishers following Christmas Day service at St Mary Magdalene Church on the Norfolk estate. He attended the special annual mass at Sandringham with his wife, the Princess of Wales, 42, and their three children, Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte , nine and Prince Louis, six. The doting father had his work cut out for him as he fended off endless gifts such as Cadbury chocolates, stuffed animals and flower bouquets, having collected as many as the family could humanly carry. Outnumbered made its long-awaited return to screens with a one-off special on Thursday, offering fans a glimpse at the famous Brockman family, 10 years after the original series ended. All of the stars of the beloved BBC comedy returned for the episode, including Hugh Dennis as dad Pete, Claire Skinner as mum Sue, Tyger Drew-Honey as eldest son Jake, Daniel Roche as the middle child Ben, and Ramona Marquez as the daughter, Karen. However, the special landed a lacklustre reaction from viewers, who were quick to brand it 'disappointing' and 'forced.'

Flight data and video recovered from the final descent of the downed Flight J2-8432 indicate 'possible control issues with the aircraft' and 'strong GPS jamming and spoofing' during its approach on Grozny, according to Flightradar24. The plane was refused permission to make an emergency landing in Russia and told instead to cross the Caspian Sea in a major diversion to Kazakhstan before it crashed, killing 38. Poor weather conditions were given as the official reason for the refusal.

This is the hilarious moment a dog stole Christmas - by running off with the turkey. The footage was filmed on Christman Eve in Armagh, Northern Ireland , when the woman in the video was dropping off presents at her friend's house. When she got back into her car, she could hear her daughter saying 'no Chuck, no' and when she looked around the Golden Retreiver had ran off with the turkey. She chased the dog into the field to get it back but had to leave empty-handed as the dog wouldn't let go.

The Gavin and Stacey finale went down a storm with fans when it hit screens on Christmas Day, bringing an end to a story that was 17 years in the making. However, viewers have been quick to spot a hilarious continuity gaffe, during Mick Shipman's touching speech to Smithy at his stag night. The moving scene showed an emotional Mick describing Smithy as a second son to himself and wife Pam, after they struggled to conceive another child.

James Corden shared a slew of behind the scenes snaps from Gavin & Stacey's final episode to Instagram on Boxing Day. The actor, 46, who stars as Smithy and co-created the series with Ruth Jones, also thanked the whopping 12.5M fans who tuned in for the send off in an emotional post. A New York judge ruled to keep the identity of a woman accusing Jay-Z of raping her when she was 13 anonymous, while sharply criticizing his attorney Alex Spiro for 'inflammatory' and 'combative' legal tactics. The lawsuit alleges Jay-Z and Sean 'Diddy' Combs drugged and assaulted the plaintiff at a 2000 MTV Video Music Awards after-party, claims both men deny.

A photograph allegedly shows the first fighter sent by Kim Jong Un to bolster Putin's war effort who is believed to have been held in Russia's Kursk region by Ukrainian forces. The image is yet to be verified, but South Korea's National Intelligence Service confirmed a POW had been taken by Ukraine soon after the picture emerged. In a brief statement, they said: 'Through real-time information sharing with a friendly nation's [Ukraine's] intelligence organisation, [we] confirmed the capture of a wounded North Korean soldier and plans to thoroughly examine the subsequent development.' The South Korean spy agency issued a second statement early this morning reporting that the POW later died from his wounds.

Tommy Fury cut a casual figure as he left Fade Masters Hair Salon in Hale, Manchester on Friday. The boxer, 25, sported a grey jumper and matching shorts as he left the salon after spending his first Christmas without ex-fiancée Molly-Mae Hague.  The athlete split withn the influencer, also 25, this summer with the pair now co-parenting their daughter Bambi, and split Christmas day with her.

A couple who bought a 20-room French chateau for the price of a London flat say spiraling energy costs have turned their dream home into a Christmas nightmare.  Lionel, 64, and Claire Cherruault, 42 paid £900,000 for the property, that comes with three acres of land, eight bedrooms and its very own chapel, back in 2021.  And for the price of a flat in Chiswick, West London the couple thought they had secured their very own fairytale mansion.

A now-viral video shows how an enraged customer allegedly assaulted employees at a Chipotle in northeast Washington DC on Saturday. Staff claim she walked into the restaurant and demanded a refund for an Uber Eats order she said was made incorrectly. Staff explained that refunds would have to be issued by Uber directly, which seemingly upset her further. She then walked behind the counter and began making her own burrito bowl. She pushed workers aside as she piles food into the bowl and shook screaming staff off of her as they tried to intervene. An employee tried to grab the bowl out of her arms, but the woman pulled it away and slapped him across the face, sending food flying around the counter.

Jude Bellingham saw the funny side as Sunderland supporters sang a rude chant about Newcastle legend Alan Shearer while he was in attendance at their Boxing Day clash at Blackburn. Real Madrid superstar Bellingham was there to watch his brother Jobe, who plays for the Black Cats. Newcastle and Sunderland are fierce rivals and Shearer is not a popular figure among fans of the latter.
