Katie Scott, 49, found he had been immortalised on the search engine's 360 imagery this month. Arthur Scott passed away in 2013, aged 83, after being diagnosed with stage three kidney failure. In the Google image, captured in 2009, Arthur can be seen sat on the bench outside his home where he used to enjoy soaking up the sun.

Shamed Vladimir Putin apologised today for downing a passenger plane killing 38 people, in extraordinary admission. The Kremlin dictator called Azerbaijan president Ilham Aliyev to say sorry for Russian air defences firing at the Azerbaijan Airlines aircraft. A total of 38 passengers died in the crash in Aktau, Kazakhstan , after it was shot at over Grozny, its destination after a flight from Baku. Although seemingly stopping short of saying Russia blasted the jet down, Putin did admit that its air defences were 'active' at the time and 'repelling' a drone attack. Following the conversation, the Kremlin said: 'Vladimir Putin expressed his apologies for the fact that the tragic incident occurred in Russian airspace. He once again extended his deepest and most sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to those injured.'

Zeli Terezinha Silva dos Anjos, 61, from Torres, Brazil, prepared a traditional 'Bolo de Natal' Christmas cake for a festive family meal on December 23. However, her sisters Maida, 58, and Neuza, 65, and Neuza's daughter Tatiana, 43, all died shortly after eating it - with authorities later revealing that traces of the toxic metal arsenic were found in their bodies. Three other family members, including Zeli herself and a 10-year-old boy - believed to be Tatiana's son - fell ill and were also rushed to hospital. Police are now preparing to dig up the body of Zeli's late husband, Paulo Luiz, who died from a suspected bout of food poisoning in September. It comes as suspicion falls upon Zeli after the festive tragedy, as Brazilian authorities seek to determine whether she intentionally poisoned her loved ones.

Olivia Hussey (pictured) who rose to fame starring in Franco Zeffirelli's 1968 film Romeo And Juliet - died at the age of 73 on Friday, December 27. French skier Cyprien Sarrazin has undergone surgery after being airlifted to intensive care with a head injury following a serious crash on the slopes in Bormio, Italy. The 2022 Olympian was diagnosed with a subdural hematoma - bleeding near the brain - after crashing on the slope due to be raced on at the 2026 Winter Olympics. On Saturday, the French Ski Federation confirmed the alpine speed star's operation on his brain was successful. Thick fog patches could reduce visibility down to just 100 metres in some areas today, the Met Office said. Haunting video from Azerbaijan Airlines Flight J2-8243 showed the pained final moments of those on board before the deadly crash near Aktau in Kazakhstan on Christmas Day. At least 38 people of the 72 on board were killed when the Embraer 190 jet erupted in a fireball following a chaotic fall from the sky.  The pilot reported losing control after hitting a flock of birds, but analysts have speculated the plane may have accidentally been shot down.

Fitness guru Joe Wicks has revealed he 'could be interested' in one day serving as health minister, adding it will take 'more than a jab' to lose weight and improve people's lives.
