Handel’s Messiah

Handel

Handel

And the Glory of the Lord.  For unto us a Child is Born. Glory to God. The Trumpet shall Sound. Hallelujah! Worthy is the Lamb that was Slain…
Just a few of the dozens of well-known and memorable musical moments in this superb masterpiece.
Handel’s Messiah, composed in 1741, has become established as one of the most popular and enduring choral works. The City of Birmingham Choir’s annual performances are always enthusiastically received. “Their singing was equally adept in meditative passages, tripping pastorals and thundering choruses.” (Birmingham Post)
Join us at Symphony Hall (Friday 6th December) or Town Hall (Tuesday 10th) with the CBSO and fine soloists for a wonderful evening of music. Details HERE.
Also for Christmas Treats and our CD.
