The Cayuga County Office for the Aging serves community members who are 60 years old and older and works with their families and caregivers to provide information, assistance, support, and services promoting maximum well-being, independence, and dignity.

We recommend that you call or e-mail before visiting so we can make sure the most qualified staff person is available to meet with you. Many questions can be answered by phone or e-mail, and we are happy to snail mail informational materials to you.
The NY Connects program provides free, unbiased information about community programs, benefits eligibility assistance, and connections to long term care services and supports for people of all ages and income levels. Our goal is to help individuals live as independently as possible while meeting the medical, social and functional needs that arise from aging or disability.
Non-medical aide services for those needing help in the home are available on limited basis through our office. Please call for eligibility screening.
Congregate dining for anyone 60 and over is offered at Schwartz Towers, Stryker Homes, and the Boyle Center 5 days a week. Pre-registration is required at least 2 days in advance. Meals on Wheels delivery may be available following eligibility screening. Call 315-253-1550 for more information.
