Trail reviews for Arches National Park
Our favorite hike we did on our trip to Arches. Started later in the day around 2 PM in late October and once we passed Landscape Arch we saw maybe only a few other hikers. Fun little scramble and walk along a ridge and beautiful views at the end, highly recommend this one.
Loved this trail - the variety of terrain, the views and the fact that the elevation gains were scattered throughout, so wasn’t very difficult. Saw several hikers during the course of the hike, but never felt it was ‘crowded’. If you have one day at Arches, this is the trail to do!!
The ranger will tell you to not use a map and find your own adventure, but without all trails I wouldn't have found some of the arches.
Couldn't go to Arches and not see Delicate Arch. So I started the hike 20 minutes after sunset, no big deal, there was more than enough moonlight to see the arch and it was great as always, and no other people for once.
It was definitely fun to do the loop! This is a popular place for non-hikers. And they can get enough views without hiking. So the trail quickly gets significantly less crowded, and is definitely more fun than just briefly taking in the arches.
