Easy Chicken Noodle Casserole

This chicken noodle casserole is super easy to prep with cooked shredded chicken, condensed soups, any noodles, and cheese. Everyone I have made it for really likes it! Add frozen peas, broccoli florets, or sauteed mushrooms if you like.

Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 6 servings

  • 1 (3 pound) chicken - cooked, deboned and shredded

  • 6 ounces spaghetti or egg nooodles

  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup

  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup

  • ¼ cup water

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions

  1. Gather the ingredients.

  2. Cook spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water until it is al dente, about 8 to 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

  3. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Place shredded chicken, cooked spaghetti, condensed soups, water, salt, and pepper in a 9x13-inch baking dish; stir to combine.

  4. Sprinkle cheese on top of mixture and bake in preheated oven until cheese is melted and golden brown on top, about 20 to 25 minutes. Let cool briefly before serving.

Cook’s Note

You can also use 2 pounds of chicken breast meat instead of a whole chicken. I like to cook my chicken ahead of time and freeze it, so that it is even quicker to make when I'm in a hurry.
