Original recipe (1X) yields 18 servings 2 (14.5 ounce) cans pitted sour cherries, drained 1 cup white sugar 3 ½ tablespoons cornstarch ½ teaspoon lemon juice Directions Combine cherries, sugar, and cornstarch in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly and bring to a boil. Reduce heat slightly and simmer until mixture becomes translucent, about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in lemon juice.
