I made this blueberry sauce for my kids to serve over pancakes. It's quick, easy, and delicious!

Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 6 servings

  • ¾ cup fresh blueberries

  • ½ cup white sugar

  • ¼ cup water

  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch (Optional)

Directions

  1. Combine blueberries, sugar, water, and cornstarch in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until thickened, about 10 minutes.

Cook’s Note

Use 1/4 cup water if making this sauce with frozen blueberries.

For a thicker sauce, add 1 teaspoon cornstarch.

Also great as a sauce for grilling.
