Sweet and spicy - that's how I like my mango salad. It goes great with meat or fish dishes. Adjust the spice according to your personal taste.

Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 2 servings

  • 1 mango - peeled, seeded, and diced

  • ½ jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced

  • ¼ small onion, chopped

  • green bell pepper, chopped

  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped mint, or to taste

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice, or as needed

  • 1 teaspoon honey

  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes, or to taste

Directions

  1. Combine mango, jalapeno, onion, bell pepper, and mint in a bowl. Mix to combine. Season with lemon juice, honey, and red pepper flakes. Mix well.
