Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 12 servings

  • ¾ cup milk

  • 1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix

  • ¼ cup vodka

  • ½ cup coffee-flavored liqueur (such as Kahlua)

  • 1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping (such as Cool Whip), thawed

Directions

  1. Beat milk and pudding mix together in a bowl using an electric mixer until pudding is thickened. Stir vodka and coffee-flavored liqueur into pudding; fold in whipped topping. Pipe or spoon pudding mixture into shot glasses. Freeze until ready to serve.

Cook’s Note

I love making pudding shots in miniature ice cream cones to take to cookouts. I fill a disposable pan one-quarter full of rice and place my miniature cones into the rice. This way, the rice supports the cones so they won't tip over while transporting. Then I take a plastic storage bag, roll it down about halfway, fill it with my pudding mixture, roll it back up, squeeze the pudding to one corner, and cut the corner off. This makes a quick and easy way to fill the cones.
