My mother called this "Cherry Cloud Salad," but in the 70s and 80s everything was a salad! These days most people call it a dessert, as it's very sweet and rich.

Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 10 servings

  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened

  • 6 ounces frozen whipped topping, thawed

  • 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained

  • 1 (20 ounce) can cherry pie filling

  • ½ cup pecans

Directions

  1. Beat sweetened condensed milk, cream cheese, and whipped topping together in a bowl. Stir pineapple, cherry pie filling, and pecans into the milk mixture.

  2. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 1 hour.

Cook’s Note

Use almonds in place of pecans, if you prefer.
