Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 4 servings

  • 2 tablespoons butter

  • ¾ cup white sugar

  • 1 large egg

  • 2 cups milk

  • 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Combine butter, sugar, and egg in a small saucepan over medium heat. Pour in milk; cook and stir until mixture begins to bubble.

  2. Stir in flour and vanilla until well combined. Serve warm.
