Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 3 servings

  • 3 slices bacon

  • 1 (28 ounce) package frozen French fries

  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

  • Ranch dressing for serving

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (205 degrees C). Place a piece of aluminum foil over a baking sheet.

  2. Place bacon in a large skillet and cook over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until evenly browned, about 10 minutes. Drain bacon slices on paper towels; crumble.

  3. Spread fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.

  4. Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown and crisp, 15 to 20 minutes.

  5. Remove fries from the oven. Turn on the oven broiler to high.

  6. Sprinkle fries with cheese and crumbled bacon.

  7. Cook under the preheated broiler until cheese is melted, 1 to 2 minutes. Serve with ranch dressing.
