Original recipe (1X) yields 12 servings 1 (16 ounce) package uncooked pasta shells 1 pound ground beef ¼ cup chopped onions ¼ cup chopped green bell pepper 1 (3 ounce) package pepperoni, sliced 2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce 2 cups tomato juice ¾ teaspoon dried oregano ½ teaspoon celery salt ¼ teaspoon onion powder ¼ teaspoon garlic salt ¼ teaspoon dried basil ⅛ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese Directions Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a rolling boil over high heat. Once the water is boiling, stir in the shell pasta, and return to a boil. Cook the pasta uncovered, stirring occasionally, until the pasta has cooked through, but is still firm to the bite, about 13 minutes. Drain well in a colander set in the sink. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir ground beef, onion, and green pepper until browned. Drain off excess grease.
