Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 6 servings

  • cooking spray

  • 1 pound lean (at least 80%) ground beef

  • 1 large onion, chopped

  • 1 cup milk

  • ½ cup Original Bisquick® mix

  • 2 large eggs

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Spray 9-inch glass pie pan with cooking spray.

  2. Cook beef and onion in a nonstick skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until beef is browned and crumbly, 8 to 10 minutes.

  3. Meanwhile, whisk milk, Bisquick, and eggs together in a small bowl.

  4. Drain beef and onion mixture; transfer to the prepared pie pan. Stir in salt, sprinkle with Cheddar, and pour Bisquick mixture over top.

  5. Bake in the preheated oven until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean, about 25 minutes.
