Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 12 servings

  • 2 quarts fresh strawberries, cleaned, hulled and sliced

  • ½ cup white sugar

Directions

  1. Place strawberries in a large bowl. Sprinkle sugar evenly over berries; stir to coat. Let stand at room temperature, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes.

  2. Cover and chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
