Original recipe (1X) yields 30 servings ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened 1 ⅓ cups white sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 egg 4 ½ cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon salt ½ cup milk 1 (12.5 ounce) can cherry pie filling 1 egg white (for egg wash) Directions Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
