Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 24 servings

  • 1 cup butter, softened

  • 1 cup packed brown sugar

  • 1 cup white sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 2 cups quick cooking oats

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 cup raisins

  • 1 cup sweetened dried cranberries (such as Craisins®)

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease cookie sheets.

  2. Beat together butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla in a large bowl with an electric mixer until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes. Combine oats, flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl. Add flour mixture, 1 cup at a time, beating batter briefly after each addition. Mix in raisins and cranberries. Drop by spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.

  3. Bake in the preheated oven until edges are golden, 12 to 14 minutes.
