The infamous Combo Pizza hasn’t had shoppers pleading with the warehouse giant to make a comeback for nothing. However, not everything Costco offers in its food court has people thrilled, such as those giant double chocolate chunk cookies that replaced the iconic churros for a brief stint. Or the "Jochizza" hack that got everyone talking. And then, you have the middle ground of those food court items that leave just about everyone divided, including this frozen treat that has a lot of fans talking lately. Costco’s Cold Brew Mocha Freeze Costco’s Cold Brew Mocha Freeze on the food court menu is a frozen coffee drink made with Kirkland’s Signature Colombian beans and premium chocolate syrup, and it typically goes for about $2.99 depending on your location. It sounds like a decent coffee drink or dessert in a cup, but fans are completely divided when it comes to this offering. A recent Reddit thread had one Costco member saying, “I love coffee. Especially iced coffee. I've gotten it a couple times now. It tastes so burnt…I haven't gotten the Kirkland Signature coffee beans yet, but if this is what they taste like I will avoid them.” Others agreed with the original user saying, “Tried the Latte and Mocha. Would rather drink black coffee instead” and “Not too much of a fan of it. It tastes like a White Russian just without the alcohol.” One other user commented on how they used to like the version before this current take much better: “I loved, and was addicted to the previous version of this. Then, they changed it up (for the worse) and significantly increased the price. So, there went that.” However, not everyone is unhappy with the Cold Brew Mocha Freeze. Many seem to even “love them.” One commenter said, “The one I had was quite tasty” while another added, “As a mildly caffeinated chocolate slurpee, I find it to be a complete success.” While a few said this latest version was “very sugary” there were many who explained the key to going about this frozen treat right is to “get it without the chocolate and it’s golden.” So where do you stand? Whether you love it or hate it, you have company. And at the very least, you know where to get a much-needed energy boost for your Costco run when you need it. Was this page helpful?
