Recipe does not state if cherries should be dried, fresh, or frozen. Also, 300° seems too low for baking. I chilled the dough and baked half of it, adding time and increasing the temperature to 350° before they were done. I then rolled the second half of the dough into a log, also increasing the time and temperature. As others have said, the amount of cornstarch should be lessened, or omitted. Will not make again.

EDIT: Tonight (3/24/2023) I used Bob's Red Mill gluten-free 1 - 1 flour, and King Arthur's Flour 1 - 1 baking sugar alternative. I also used the juice of one lemon and lemon zest, and it turned out great.Hubby and I love this with coffee for brunch. I subbed sucralose for the sugar because we both have type 2 diabetes. I used parchment paper instead of greasing and flouring the loaf pan. I also increased lemon juice to 3 Tb instead of using lemon zest.The recipe photo used to be of two slices from a loaf; I don't know why it was changed to a Bundt cake seeing that the instructions say to use an 8x4 loaf pan.

This works great without the cream cheese, too.

I used apples instead of plums and added cinnamon. It turned out great!

Very good! I didn't have pecans, but it tasted good just the same. Next time I will omit the cinnamon, I don't think it's necessary.

I just made these and if I don't stop eating, them there won't be any left for dinner!
