Ingredients

Original recipe (1X) yields 32 servings

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 2/3 cup brown sugar

  • 1/3 cup sugar

  • 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon

  • 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt

  • 1 cup whole milk or half and half

Directions

  1. Combine heavy cream, brown sugar, white sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a small saucepan and place over medium-high heat.  Bring to a boil, whisking often until sugars are dissolved.  Remove from heat and cool slightly.

  2. Stir in milk or half and half and transfer to a bottle or jar fitted with a lid, and refrigerate until ready to use.
