You can take it to your local brewery for a fill up, too!

Anyone who wants to carry a half gallon of water with them at all times has plenty of options. They can tote their hydration in a Yeti Rambler, a Stanley Quencher, or a wide-mouth Hydro Flask, just to name a few. Despite their high costs, these water bottles are super trendy, and as almost anyone who has ever owned at least one bottle knows, they are easy to lose.

Trendy water bottles aren’t the only ones that can easily be left behind; any water bottle can become an orphan. But the sting is greater when you lose an expensive one.

For those who don’t need to be on trend with the vessel they drink their water from, a bargain water bottle that works as well as the expensive ones will do just fine. And this week, Aldi is the place to go for a 64-ounce Wide-Mouth Chugger. You can find it in the Aldi Finds aisle—the same aisle where you find copycat versions of Lodge skillets and Pyrex mixing bowls that look and function like the popular brands but cost a good deal less.

Aldi’s Crofton 64-Ounce Wide-Mouth Chugger Water Bottle

A chugger water bottle has a wide enough opening to make it easy to chug the water. Aldi’s Crofton version of a chugger holds 64 ounces (half a gallon) in a double wall insulated bottle like many of the more expensive water bottle brands. The stainless steel bottle can hold hot or cold beverages, and unlike the Yeti or Hydro Flask water bottles of the same size that both sell for $65 on their respective websites, the Croften 64-ounce bottle costs just $12.99. That’s a significant savings and much less of a financial hit if you misplace your Crofton water bottle.

This really large water bottle comes in three colors: blue, ombre purple/pink, and ombre blue/blue, and according to Reddit, when the bottle was previously sold at Aldi, it works as well as a Hydro Flask.

“This 64 oz growler was only 13 bucks and works as good as my 40 oz 50 dollar hydro flask,” commented the original poster with a photo of the two water bottles side by side. “I bought one also, same color. I love it!” someone else replied.

Another commenter testified that the Croften bottle “keeps water cold really well,” and mentioned that it also works well as a beer growler.

The Crofton Chuggers go on sale on Aug. 7 and will be available while supplies last, which usually means that within a week, most Aldi stores will be sold out of this water bottle that functions just as well as the big names for a smaller price.
