Russia-1 (Russian:Россия-1) is a state-owned Russiantelevision channel founded in 1991. It belongs to the All-Russia State Television and Radio Company (VGTRK). Russia Channel was previously known as RTR (Russian:РТР). Russia-1 has the second largest audience in Russian television. In a typical week, it is viewed by 75% of urban Russians, compared to 83% for the leading channel, Channel One. The two channels are similar in their politics, and they compete directly in entertainment. Russia-1 has many regional variations and broadcasts in many languages.
History
Soviet period
Russia-1 had started in 1965 as Program 3 in the Soviet Union and moved to Channel 2 in 1967 when a new channel, Program 4 (now known as NTV), was officially launched and the Moscow Program, which started in 1956, was transferred to Channel 3. From the very start, it only hosted programs produced by the Ministry of Education of the Soviet Union, as well as children's programming, in monochrome. The move to a new channel frequency resulted in it being renamed Program 2 and becoming the second home of the national newscast Vremya since 1968.
Ufa (Russian:Уфа́;IPA:[ʊˈfa]; Bashkir:Өфө, Öfö; IPA:[ʏ̞ˈfʏ̞], pronunciation) is the capital city of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Russia, and the industrial, economic, scientific and cultural center of the republic. Population: 1,105,667 (2015).
History
Ancient History — 16th century
Early history of the surrounding area of Ufa out in Paleolithic times.
Presumably in the 5th to the 16th centuries on the site of Ufa there was a medieval city. On the map of Pizzigano brothers (1367) and on the Catalan Atlas (1375) approximately on the Belaya River was designated a town Pascherti (Bashkort), On the Gerardus Mercator's map (1554) also marked the settlement with the Pascherti name. French orientalist Henri Cordier associates the position of Pascherti with the current location of Ufa.
Mezhgorye is home to two Russian military battalions that serve a secret nuclear missile base. It has been reported that the ballistic missiles stationed there are capable of being automatically, and remotely triggered if sensors detect a nuclear strike.
History
Founded around 1979, it was known as Ufa-105 (Уфа́-105) and Beloretsk-16 (Белоре́цк-16). Town status was granted to it in 1995, at which time it was given its present name.

AVOID MALTA IN 2023 - It's Not What You Think 🇲🇹
Just an honest video of what's it like in St. Paul's Bay - Bugibba & Qawra in Malta. This video represents my personal opinion, plus the presented state of things here. Sustainability levels of this island are becoming exhausted.
St. Paul's Bay, Malta is a local council consisting of Bugibba, Qawra and St. Paul's Bay residential areas. Full of shops, restaurants, hotels and couple of local seafood stores. It is also the most populated town in Malta, and the town with most of the construction works after St. Julian's and Sliema.
